The 928 Weissach Edition
In 1982, Porsche introduced a limited version of the 928, the "Weissach Edition". Only 205 models were produced, and all of them were painted gold with two-tone leather interiors. They also have a gold Porsche crest on the dashboard. Setting them apart further from the "regular" 928 models that year were front and rear spoilers, later seen on 928 "S" models. One of the finest examples of the Weissach Edition 928 is located in suburban Detroit. This car is stock except for small pinstripes along each side, Euro cams, a variable-rate fuel pressure regulator, wider wheels and tires, a cat-bypass tube and Borla exhaust. Although every Weissach Edition 928 is rare due to their limited production numbers, it's rarer still to find one that still has its entire 3-piece luggage set. Here are some pictures of this beautifully well-preserved car and the incredible garage where it sleeps.
