Autocrossing the 928
My buddy Ell Pizarek invited me to watch him participate in an S.C.C.A. autocross event in Oscoda, Michigan. The weather was perfect for a large group of cars to lay some rubber down on a course laid out on an old airfield. I got to ride with Ell for one of his runs, and got a good glimpse of what a 928 can do in some tight turns! I also got to ride along when he raced in the parking lot of the Pontiac Silverdome.
